PV park Kaolinovo was repowered to 60 MWp and 33 MW / 110 MWh BESS

Renalfa IPP completed the repowering of its PV park Kaolinovo in Northeast Bulgaria, and the plant is now fully operational. Project Kaolinovo had a nominal capacity of 10 MWp and has been operating since 2012.After the repowering, the solar park now has an installed capacity of 33 MWp and a co-located battery energy storage system (BESS) with capacity of 33 MW / 110MWh. Project manager and EPC contractor of the project was Solarpro Bulgaria.
